About Us Thomas L. Atkins
Prior to co-founding Thomas Atkins & Associates LLC Tom was a senior compliance consultant with Watson Wyatt Worldwide and with The Segal Company, both in Chicago. Tom has also worked as a Tax Law Editor for CCH, Inc. and as Vice President of Human Resources and General Counsel for a Chicago-based distribution company. In addition to private sector experience, Tom has government experience working in the Chicago Mayor's Office of Budget and Management and as a Deputy Executive Director in the DuPage County (Illinois) Office of the County Board Chairman. Tom earned both a JD and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago and a BA in political science from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He is a Certified Mediator (since 2002), a member of the American Bar Association, and an affiliate member of the State Bar of New Mexico. And, he is licensed to practice law in Illinois (since 1981). Nancy Meyer
Prior to co-founding Thomas Atkins & Associates LLC Nancy was a budget & financial analyst at Northwestern University, DeVry Institute, and Chas. Levy Company. She served on the Josselyn Mental Health Center Board in Northfield, Illinois for 8 years as Chair of the Personnel Committee and a member of the Finance Committee. She has also served on the Santa Fe Stages Board in Santa Fe, New Mexico as Treasurer and member of the Finance Committee. Nancy earned a BA in sociology from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.
